Recently a report says that in Q2 of 2015 the Google Android is dominating the mobile phone market with the share of 78%. Companies like Samsung, HTC, Xiaomi, Motorola, Lenovo and many more are using Android OS in their devices. Apple iOS is still in the second position with the 18.3% of market share in Q2, 2015. Combining these 2 giants, it carries 96.3%. So, how 3rd OS establish their market in the Smartphone market?
Microsoft which leading the computer OS market is struggling with 2.7% of market share in the mobile phone OS. After acquiring the Nokia in 2014, Microsoft plan is to earn a big share of mobile phone business, but when they replace the old trusted name Nokia with Microsoft, this move makes a big harm for the company in the mobile phone segment and the share which was 3.2% is now only 2.7% and company continuously drop in their share in this market.

Blackberry is the only company which is struggling continuously with their OS first their own RIM OS and then BB OS. Blackberry offers highly secure OS which is the USP of the OS and because of that the corporate people still prefer to use Blackberry. The report says that Blackberry carry only 0.3% market share in Q2 of 2015. Other OS like Firefox OS, Samsung Tizen OS, and Nokia S40 OS and other carries 0.7% in this market.
