Finally, the wait is over. Apple introduces their new products in their annual event on Wednesday in San Francisco. So without wasting any time, here we look out the highlights of Apple Events 2015.
- Apple Watch
- An event starts with the launch of new Apple watch. Now, the new watch is also available in rose gold and 3 different leather strips.
- There are more than 10,000 Watch apps are available in app store, and company introduce the official facebook messenger app for the watch.
- Apple also releases the watch OS 2, which starts role out from September 12.
- Apple iPad Pro and iPad Mini 4
- Apple unveils new 12.9-inch iPad Pro. CEO Tim Cook says,” It’s the most capable and powerful iPad we’ve ever created”.
- iPad Pro has 5.6 million pixels display which is richer than the MacBook Pro’s Retina display.
- Apple claims that the iPad Pro it is fully capable for performing heavy tasks.
- The iPad Pro has 4 speakers and Apple also claimed that it will give 10 hours battery life.
- Apple announces the Smart Keyboard and stylus called Apple Pencil, the 2 additional accessories for the iPad Pro.
- The new iPad Pro and its accessories both will be available from November.
- Apple also announced the launch of the iPad Mini 4 that has been priced at $399.
- Apple TV
- Apple announced the new Apple TV. It has a new Siri remote which has touch and voice controlled. The top half of the remote is a glass touch surface.
- The voice and touch enable controls gives a nice new way while watching TV.
- Apple announces new OS for Apple TV called tvOS. It is based on iOS.
- Apple TV also brings multi-player gaming where iPhone and iPad users can join in.
- Apple iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus
- In the end, Apple officially introduces the new iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus.
- The new iPhones comes in the same size of its predecessors, 4.5-inch and 5.5-inch, but this time it comes in four colours- Silver, Gold, Space Gray and Rose Gold.
- The new iPhones comes with 3D Touch displays. A new technology which helps new iPhones to recognise the new gestures and force. We have already seen this 3D Touch technology in Apple Watch, but this time it becomes far better.
- The new Apple iPhones are made up of a new alloy of 7000 series aluminium. So no more band gauge.
- Apple iPhone 6s and 6s Plus runs on latest A9(64-bit 3rd Generation) Processor.
- Finally, Apple changes its primary 8 MP camera to 12 MP iSight camera which can record 4k videos. On the front, you will get a 5MP camera in both the devices.
- The new iPhones will go on sales from September 25 while the advance booking will start from September 12.
- Both the devices are available at the same price of its predecessors with same storage capacity.
- Apple also announced the iPhone Upgrade Program under which customers have to pay $32 per month and they will get a new iPhone every year.
